Bellyache

Mama Lips is a total hero of mine. Not only do they make amazing music and diy comics, but they are are also a fellow Springsteen fan who gets it.

So I was beyond chuffed when Mama asked me to collaborate on a split comic with them last year.

Bellyache is our collaborative comic sharing embarrassing stories from our youth featuring sleepovers, running away, dream haircuts, and wetting the bed. It’s 20 colour pages of 90s nostalgia and friendships, and I can’t believe it’s finally here!

It was also a total dream collaborating on the cover art with Mama. Mama supplied the final inked version of a concept we’d both talked about and then asked me to bring my watercolours to the party. It’s the first time I’d ever coloured someone else's art before and it felt so exciting to go outside my usual 2 colour palette and just play around.

Not to sound like a dickhead or anything but Bellyache is limited edition, only 100 copies are available.
